The book spans several generations and many years, across continents and from several POVs, but it still maintains the threads of the rich tapestry of the sensualness of werewolves, the very visceral lives they live. I'm not done yet, but I'm very anxious to find out how a half-were/half-human who was introduced in the prologue gets created, since supposed weres and humans cannot mate AT ALL.
Come on Vox! Denver is BIG CITY!! Whree's the Denver cityscape theme?
Ahem, anyway... have you ever had your wallet try to make a break for it? Yesterday, mine did TWICE. I stopped at the liquor store for wine on the way home from work and while leaning the case against the car to unlock it, I guess my wallet took a nosedive under the car. I never even missed it. Until I got almost out of the parking lot and realized it wasn't on the seat. I pulled back into the spot where I'd parked earlier and deaf woman was just getting back in her car next to me and asked me if I'd dropped my purse. She had turned it into the cashier inside. I thanked her so much and the funny thing is, once I realized she was deaf, used the same sign language I use on my deaf dog to tell him Good Boy. *head desk*
THEN...I went to The Market for Stitch n Bitch and stood at the counter talking to friends who had ordered food, then I ordered wine and left my wallet AT THE COUNTER. Luckily, I wasn't getting anything to go and the cashier brought it to me back at the tables where we were sitting.
Hey, wait a minute. I think I see the connection! My wallet doesn't want to buy wine anymore!!
I have been absently rubbing over a callus I've grown on my left forefinger for the last few days wondering what the heck I've been doing to get a callus. I mean, I'm used to having them on my writing hand, but it's been quite awhile since I've had even that (thanks to my keyboard taking the place of my pen).
It finally occurred to me that the only thing I've been doing in such a repetitive manner long enough to get a callus is knitting. WTF! Obviously, I'm doing something wrong to have a callus on my LEFT forefinger.
Grrrrr. And Wolfie noticed last night he hasn't seen me knitting in awhile (yeah, five days). And I realized with all the snarky bitchiness going on in my head, I haven't felt STILL enough to sit and knit. But, I'm gonna tonight and I think it's just what I need.
Maybe it'll take my mind off of the large knot I have on my chin from having a 150 lbs dog POP ME ONE in the chin last night. Yes, OUCH. That dog is getting some serious training when we get back from vacation. Not only did I have to replant JOel's rose bushes after he ran through them, but I got dragged halfway across the yard for trying to stop him. OH yeah, and POPPED IN THE CHIN.
Sorry, I never finished the 12 Days of St. Paddy's Day song uploads. I lose at life, or at least I did last week. But I'm not sure I was fit to even be posting here, much less sharing music. Snarling bitch much?
Anyway, I now come bearing pictures of my baby in his new coat. This gift was from a lady who we called friend but weren't particularly close to. She'd also had a deaf great dane, who she lost a few years ago and she always asks about Heimdall (and Vala) when we meet up.
The coat just appeared in our post office box last week with a sweet note to Heimdall. Apparently, she'd seen it and felt it would just be too perfect not to get it for him. He is rather handsome in it, don't you think? :)
So, I'm going to attempt to post my favorite Irish songs, one a day, through March 17th. Ok, so that's only 11 days, but I'll throw in two on the actual party day!
Tonight, my favorite Celtic group, now defunct and almost impossible to find CDs for, Ceili's Muse from houston, TX. Ladies, this is guaranteed to make you smile and put you in a good mood.
Wow!

I was thinking about doing some artwork with knitting, but this is just on a level I can't even conceive.
